Yardenit is the most important baptismal site for Christian pilgrims and one of the many holy sites around the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Tabgha and Mount of Beatitudes.
Each year visits by more than half a million tourists from around the world take place at Yardenit. The baptismal site is located on the banks of the Jordan between magnificent eucalyptus trees and the natural flora of the river. It is ideal for meditation in an environment of serenity and quiet enclave. You will also find adequate facilities for religious ceremonies.
When you visit the baptismal sites, you will see the Wall of New Life, a wall that begins at the entrance and continues along the edge of the pool surrounding the baptism area. It is dedicated to Christians around the world, consisting of prints in all languages with verses that describe Jesus’ baptism. You will also enjoy a new boardwalk with souvenirs, and more.
