Attractions in Tiberias & The Galilee
South of Tiberias is Yardenit, where according to Christian tradition Jesus was baptized. Northern Israel, or Galilee, is formed by the regions of Lower Galilee and Upper Galilee and Western Galilee and the Mediterranean coast. Galilee is famous for its pristine beauty, hiking trails, natural springs, protected beaches, wildlife reserves, religious attractions and historical sites.
