Tel Aviv is full of historic sites and the Independence Hall is a must-visit site. This is where the state of Israel was born, where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1948.
Initially it was called the Dizengoff House, located in Rothschild boulevard of the city of Tel Aviv, near Charles Clore Garden. It is dedicated to providing information about Israel’s independence, as well as historical data on Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Dizengoff began as head of the board of residents of this Jewish quarter and became a mayor of Tel Aviv.
The main hall of the building has been recently restored for better conservation and you can see different period photographs, documents of Independence, besides being able to see the original decoration of the room.
You can enjoy the Bible museum on the upper floors of this building. You can take a guided tour from Sunday to Thursday from 9-5 pm and Friday until 2 pm.
