Day 1

Day 1 - Sunday

Transfer to the Airport - Fly to Eilat

GROUP DEPARTURE BACK TO THE USA / EILAT EXTENSION

In the evening you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Eilat. Arrive in Eilat – the resort city on the shores of the Red Sea. Take a 30 minute transfer to your hotel (transfer is included).

Day 2

Day 2 - Monday

Petra

FULL DAY PETRA TOUR

After breakfast you will take a full day tour to the city of Petra.
You will be transferred from your hotel to the Arava border point with Jordan, cross into Jordan and visit Petra, Jordan.
Visit the wonders of the ancient city of Petra, the Rose Red City carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rock. A visit to Petra is one of the true highlights of any tour to the Middle East. For hundreds of years, Petra was forgotten until it was rediscovered in 1812. The entire city is carved into the sides of a deep gorge, which is entered on foot or by horse-drawn carriages. In the late afternoon you will return to your hotel in Eilat.

Day 3

Day 3 - Tuesday

Eilat

FREE DAY IN EILAT / DEPARTURE

After breakfast enjoy a free day in Eilat.
Check out from your Hotel and store your luggage at the hotel storage room. In the early evening take a 5 minutes taxi transfer back to the Eilat Airport (taxi on your own).
Fly to Tel Aviv and connect to your night flight back to the U.S. (Breakfast included).

* Please note: Some flights back from Eilat may land in Sde Dov (Tel Aviv Airport) In that case a transfer from Sde Dov Airport to Ben Gurion Airport is included in this tour package.

Please Note

American/Canadian citizens may obtain Jordan entry visa at the Eilat/Arava border without any advance preparations. Other nationalities- please check with your local consulate/embassy
In order for this extension to avoid an extra night, we strongly recommend taking a night flight on the 3rd day back to the US. If possible, the return flight from Eilat will be in the evening directly to Ben Gurion International Airport on El Al, Israir or Arkia airlines. However, other flights can be taken to Sde Dov Airport (Tel Aviv domestic airport) and in this case a transfer to Ben Gurion International Aiport is needed and will be an additional $30 per person
