• Today we arrive into Cairo Egypt, where we will meet our guide and transfer to our hotel.
• We check in just in time for a wonderful dinner.

PYRAMIDS / SPHINX / ENTER INSIDE THE GREAT PYRAMID / CAMEL RIDE / EGYPTIAN MUSEUM / OLD CAIRO / COPTIC CAIRO

• We start our day at one of the 7 Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. What a great opportunity to go inside the Great Pyramid to explore the burial chamber of the ancient Pharaohs! Where else will you get to ride a camel in the Sahara Desert with the Egyptian Pyramids as a backdrop. Explore Old Cairo, visit the Egyptian Museum, the home of the greatest collection of Egyptian treasures in the world, and say Hi to King Tut!
• Visit Coptic Cairo and the famous Suspended Church, the Church of St. Sergius, and the Synagogue of Ben Ezra.Nile Dinner Cruise with Show
• (*Optional $55 pp including transfers) can be arranged with our tour guide upon arrival in Egypt.

SINAI PENINSULA / WADI FEIRAN

• After breakfast we will travel east, heading towards the wilderness of the Sinai Peninsula and the Land of Goshen tracing the Route of the Biblical Exodus (Genesis16-18).
• We will continue to Elim and visit the desert oasis and the possible sites where the 12 wells and 70 Palm Trees were found during the Children of Israel’s journey to the Promised Land.
• We will then travel along the western Sinai coast to Wadi Feiran (Rephidim), the desert valley where the Children of Israel fought against the Amalekites. From here we can see Mount Serbal, the possible site where Moses held his arms up for victory.
• In the afternoon we will arrive at our hotel near Mt. Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery.
• This evening we will enjoy an authentic Bedouin dinner in a Bedouin tent.

Please note: The options for accommodation in the remote area of Mt. Sinai are very limited. Although not equivalent in quality to the other hotels we use along this tour, the hotel we use is the best in the area.

Optional Night Activity:

Climb Mt. Sinai and experience a stunning sunrise view. Those who choose to climb Mt. Sinai, please bring warm clothing and comfortable walking shoes. An optional camel ride is available for up to 1/3 of the mountain and can be arranged with your tour guide for $25 per person. Please note: The options for accommodation in the remote area of Mt. Sinai are very limited. Although not equivalent in quality to the other hotels we use along this tour, the hotel we use is the best in the area.

• After breakfast visit the beautiful Monastery of St. Catherine and learn about its exceptional history. It is the only continuously used church building in the world.
• We will drive from Mt. Sinai to the Taba Border.
• Cross the border and fly from Eilat to Tel Aviv.
• Transfer to our hotel to start your “Roots of your Faith” tour / Welcome Dinner*
