Old Town Jaffa
This old city, inhabited since 7500 B.C. has a lot of history and the streets of this beautiful city are a treasure, full of cafes, antique shops and restaurants. Although its main charm is in its disorderly and almost labyrinthine like structure.
It is located in the coastal plain of Israel, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, and is considered one of the oldest ports in the world.
You will see an interesting contrast between the old city and the port, with some more modern facilities and contemporary, such as the markets. It is one of the beautiful places to take pictures in Israel, especially if you capture a good panoramic view of the city. Also, do not forget that Jonah set sail from this port and yes, he was in the belly of a fish.
The Church of Saint Peter is a Franciscan Church in Jaffa, part of Tel Aviv in Israel.
The church was built in 1654 dedicated to Saint Peter on a medieval citadel that was built by Frederick II and restored by Louis IX of France. However, in the 18th century the church was destroyed twice and thus reconstructed twice. The current structure was built between 1888 and 1894 and last renovated in 1903.
Masses are held in English, Italian, Spanish, Polish and German.
