Shepherd’s Field

In an area East of Bethlehem you will find many caves believed to be the place where shepherds would take care of their herds of sheep.

This is also the location where it is thoughts that the angels announced the birth of Jesus.

Luke 2: 15
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
